The Murder of Michael Leonard

Michael Leonard, a civilian from Donegal, was shot dead by a Royal Ulster Constabulary patrol in 1973. Paper Trail publishes critical new evidence that the police deliberately shot him and then covered up the killing.

The report was written by Michael's cousin, Fr. Joe McVeigh, with Paper Trail, and has been submitted to the Attorney General, the Public Prosecution Service and the Police Ombudsman.
