Online Survey: Public Records and the Past

Paper Trail needs YOU!.. to complete a short online survey and share it with your friends and contacts.

We are canvassing views on the importance of the retrieval of legacy archives in Britain and Ireland, especially for:

  • People impacted by events detailed in the public records, and
  • Those who work with these people

The short online survey takes around 5 minutes to complete and is anonymous (unless the respondent wishes follow-up information).

You can complete it online on Survey Monkey or below.

Please share with family and contacts whose views would be essential.

Many thanks in advance.

Introduction to the Online Survey:

Thank you for participating in our survey. Your feedback is important.

Paper Trail is a charity and social enterprise which helps ordinary families access legacy archives in public records. Legacy archives are those records which pertain to social upheaval and conflict on the islands of Ireland and Great Britain from the mid 1960s onwards.
We are gathering people’s views regarding:
1. The retrieval of legacy archives
2. How people impacted by the events detailed in the archives can use that information

Questionnaires are anonymous (unless respondents leave their email details for the collector to send follow-up information).

We would be especially keen to have the views of people directly impacted by the conflict.

The questionnaire should take around 5 minutes to complete. Your views will help shape the planning of future projects we hope to create for seekers of truth.
